    Sapper B. A. Cohen, a locomotive engine driver of Midland Junction, Western Australia, enlisted at the age of 36, September 1916 and embarked from Fremantle on HMAT A28 Miltiades, Jan. 1917. He served with the Australian Broad Gauge Operating Company in France and Belgium, May 1917 - March 1919. He returned to Australia August 1919 on the Konigin Luise
