    Henry Frederick Wallace Tucker, railway porter of Wallangarra, N.S.W., was born in Bristol, Wales. He served in the 4th Queensland Contingent Bushmen before enlisting with the A.I.F. in Sep. 1914 aged 36. He served as a trooper with the 6th Australian Light Horse Regiment at Gallipoli, 1915 and in Egypt, 1915-1917. From June 1915 - Jan. 1916 he was absent from the regiment through illness, and after returning to hospital Jan. 1917 was invalided home on HMAT Willochra, 27 Apr. 1917
