    Robert Valentine Fell of Glebe Point, Sydney, New South Wales was born in Redfern and described his occupation as traveller when he enlisted at Liverpool aged 27 on 28 Sept. 1915. He embarked from Sydney on board HMAT A67 Orsova, 11 March 1916 and served in the Imperial Camel Corps and in the 10th Australian Light Horse 3rd Brigade in Egypt and Palestine. He returned to Australia on HT Dorset, 29 April 1919
