    Series 01: Personal papers - letters received by Hancock and others, 1913-1962. Include letters from E. McDonnell, Ted Turner and one from Dame Mary Gilmore to Rod. Quinn; diary, 1937, and notebooks; union tickets; receipts; photographs; miscellaneous.

    Series 02: Papers collected by Hancock. Political material - Communist Party of Australia, 1916-1931; Workers' International Industrial Union, 1907-1922; Federated Ironworkers' Association of Australia, 1918-1942; I.W.W., 1908-1920; miscellaneous unions; printed material, cuttings, shop steward's cash book, Mort's Dock, 1899-?, W.
