  Percival John Thorn, lawyer, of South Brisbane, Queensland enlisted in the A.I.F. at the age of 35 and embarked from Sydney, New South Wales on board Transport A29 Suevic, 13 June 1915 to serve with the 4th Light Horse Regiment. He returned to Australia 20 October 1918
