    Grouped in the centre, left to right, five of William Arnott's sons: Samuel Sinclair Arnott, John McLean Arnott, James Hayden Leslie Arnott (managing director), William Arnott (jnr) and Halse Rogers Arnott, who was Chairman of the Board till 1961, nearly 100 years after the first shop opened in Newcastle.
