Donated by Frank Hinder, this collection mainly relates to Hinder's mother's family, the Pockley's and their house Lorne, in Killara. It also depicts Hinder family houses, Carleton and Summerlees. A number of photographs, probably taken by Ernest O. Pockley, are of Papuan New Guinean and Bougainvillean scenes, where he had business interests.
